If you bought Spot for someone else, their coverage will appear in your account since you were the purchaser of the coverage.
There may be Several Reasons you’re not seeing Spot coverage you purchased within your Spot account:
The insured’s name must appear on the purchase receipt or invoice from the location or partner where Spot was purchased
In order for someone to be insured on a Spot policy or plan, the person’s name must appear on the purchase receipt or invoice from the location or partner where Spot was purchased. We rely on our partners to send us the names of new enrollments to include on Spot coverage.
For group coverages like Trip Protection, sometimes not everyone within a group will have their name appear on the purchase receipt or invoice. A common example of this is with accommodation bookings where only the purchaser’s name appears on the receipt or invoice.
Coverage may be on a legacy or updated Spot platform
It's possible that the coverage you're expecting to see is divided between our legacy and updated platforms.
Spot has two different platforms for Spot Accounts. Which platform you should log into depends on how and where your Spot coverage was purchased.
After selecting Login on the the Getspot.com website, please select the location or partner where you purchased the specific coverage you’re trying to access or file a claim for.
There may have been a delay with your Spot enrollment
It's possible there was a delay with the enrollment of coverage with Spot.

- The email or emails of the covered person or people you expect to see
- The type of Spot coverage you expect to see (e.g., Injury Insurance, Pass Protection, Trip Protection)
- The name and email of the person who purchased the coverage
